The first thing to do is test the protected number on your advert.
You'll need to do this from a different phone number than the one connected to your advert. You can see which phone number is connected by:
- Heading to your account and the 'manage my adverts' section
- Select the advert you want to test the number for
- You'll find the phone number in the 'seller contact details' section at the bottom of the page
Good to know: If you call from the same number connected to your advert, you'll hear an engaged tone.
If you're still having problems, get in touch and have your advert ID ready.
Your advert ID is a 9-digit number you can find in your confirmation email or on your advert in your account.
