The deals service is modelled differently from the Leads API. To replicate existing functionality, you would need to subscribe to our Deal Notification. This would push a message when a new deal has been created, giving you a summary of which components have been added to the deal.
The ID can be used to find the relevant API and view the details of any attached components (for example, the message details). If you use the existing Leads API to respond to consumer messages, this will be supported via the Messages API.
