If you're trying to sell a vehicle privately, we'll need to verify that you're the registered keeper.
Please send us the following documentation to customersecurity@autotrader.co.uk:
- A copy of the V5C document
- A photo of your driving license
- The registration of the vehicle you want to sell
What happens next?
Once you've proven you're the registered keeper of the vehicle, we will update your advert to be privately sold. This will not permanently update your account. If you want to sell with us privately again, you'll need to follow the same process.
