How to get a quote and send it
- Select ' Send to Lender ' in the top right corner of an application
- Head to the Santander integration and click ‘Get Quote’.
- Selecting ‘Get Quote’ calls the lender API to return a rate for a risk %APR quote unique to that risk
Rate for risk % APR
- The rate displayed against the tier in the 'Send to Lender' section of the application is the quoted rate for risk %APR for that consumer application. The rate cannot be amended here and the dropdown will only show the rate received back from Santander.
Eligibility - Likelihood to finance percentage
- Next to the 'Send' button on the left, an 'i' icon will appear. Selecting this will bring up 'Lender Tier Remarks'
- Under 'Lender Tier Remarks', you'll find the likelihood to finance percentage, the indicative APR and other information
- The soft credit check is valid for 30 days
- You need to make sure you inform the consumer of Santander's Privacy Policy and seek their consent for a hard credit search before submitting the full application to the lender
- If there are any issues getting the R4R or likelihood information, they will show as errors under the 'Lender Tier Remarks' section
Sending a complete application to Santander
If the consumer is happy with the quote, you need to select 'Send' on the left side of the 'Lenders' section to submit the application to Santander
You must ensure the consumer has been informed of the Privacy Policy and has given consent for a hard credit check before submitting the full application.
Activity feed post submission information
Once the application has been sent to Santander, it will show a 'Pending verification' status in the 'Activity feed.' The customer's pre-qualifications can be seen if the verify button is selected.
Error or warning responses
- If there are issues with any of the information, it will show next to 'Eligibility Warnings' within the 'Response' section
- If an 'Insufficient Trace' warning is given, you should re-check the application and ensure all consumer details are correct. When you've updated, resend the application.
- If the 'Insufficient Trace' warning is seen, it is more than likely that additional consumer proofs may be required to support the application
Managing the rest of the application
- If you change vehicle or finance figure information, selecting update will send through the revised application information and update the existing application reference. Any changes to personal information will show a 'send' button, which will send a whole new application through, duplicating it.
- Proofs, documents, etc, can all be handled in Santander Online (SOL)
- You can record a conversion in AutoConvert once the application has been paid out
