What are Buyer Preferences?
Buyer Preferences reflect your customer's interests. When they submit a deal, you'll see what type of vehicle they're looking for. This means if the vehicle they've submitted a deal for becomes unavailable, you can suggest something similar based on their preferences.
How do we know about buyer preferences?
We analyse the types of vehicles they've been looking at in the seven days before submitting a deal and are able to provide a snapshot of their preferences.
These can include:
Make/Model
Fuel type
Age range
Colour
Mileage range
How do you work out preference strength?
Preference strength is the proportion of adverts viewed by the buyer based on a given preference.
What are the different strengths of preference?
- Very strong would mean at least 50% of the customers' advert views for the past seven days match that preference
- Strong would mean at least 25% of the customers' advert views for the past seven days match that preference
- Moderate would mean at least 10% of the customers' advert views for the past seven days match that preference
